Project Overview
PT.Indorama factory in Indonesia uses 80% of total power demand by private generator and 20% is coming from national power company PLN.

The poor qualify of electric supply is a big problem, when outage occurs from PLN, this make great damage to product line. This damage is around 300,000 USD whenever outage happens.
The main purpose of Indorama Load Shedding project is for cutting power of low priority load not to make black out when PLN supply is stopped or insufficient.
Because of fast response requirements to cut off power, high speed real time is essential for this project.
The system was built by one of customer PT.INES using PowerScene.

PT.INES is well know company for system integration in Indonesia. By the help of high real time response of Power Scene and the know how knowledge of PT.INES, this project was successfully completed.

Facilities
- The 93 power meters were installed to monitor load and generation power. DNP 3.0 is used for data exchange between PowerScene and meters.
- For power quality of PLN, SEL 700G relay was installed at incoming feeder of factory, IEC 61850 is used for data exchange.
