Using data exchange, you can interface not only current point`s value but also you can provide history data of data point.

For example

'Current Value' is a current analog value.

'Time maximum value' is maximum analog value on current hour.(if now is 4 o`clock, maximum value in 4 o`clock to 5 o`clock will be used)

If you don`t understand please try with data link. It will show same value from 'Data type from Data Exchange'

To use history data , you should enable 'data record'
